FLU VACCINES

Flu vaccines are now available.  It is recommended everyone over 6 months old gets a flu vaccination every year.  The 2024 flu vaccine is free for:

  • People aged 65 years and over
  • People who have a long-term medical condition like diabetes, respiratory disease, cancer, renal disease or a heart condition
  • Pregnant people
  • Children 4 years and under who have been hospitalised for respiratory illness or have a history of significant respiratory illness
  • People with mental health conditions, including schizoaffective disorder, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder
  • People who are current accessing secondary or tertiary mental health and addiction services

If you are eligible for a free vaccine, and 9 years or older, our clinics are:

Any week day between 2 April and 12 April

  • 9am – 12pm       Book online using MyIndici.  (Provider – nurse and then select flu vaccination clinic)
  • 2pm – 5pm         Walk in  – no appointment necessary

For those who are not eligible for a free flu vaccine the cost will be $40 per person.  Clinics for those 9 years or older are:

All children between 6 months and under 9 years need to have an appointment.  Please phone 03 3081212 to arrange.

Please wear loose fitting clothing to make it easier for our practice nurses.

Please note we can also give free Covid boosters at the same time as your flu vaccine, as long as it is 6 months since your last vaccine or covid infection.
