A big change for Dr Tarry
It is with regret we announce that Dr Mick Tarry will be finishing his time with us here at Eastfield Health.
Mick started at Sealy Street Medical Practice in 1994, well before it become Eastfield Health. During this time Mick has cared for a huge number of people in our community and he has been a constant in the practice, often in uncertain times. His leadership during the Covid 19 pandemic allowed us to continue to look after people despite the challenges.
Mick will be finishing in July, and many of you will get the opportunity to say goodbye in person before then. We wish him all the very best for the next chapter in his life, and the exciting adventures it brings.
Our priority is to maintain consistent, high quality primary health services for our patients and we will keep you up-to-date on service developments over the coming months.

Covid-19 Vaccination

Our clinics are held upstairs at Eastfield Health, 135 Tancred Street, Ashburton.  No appointment necessary.

Meet our new Practice Nurse, Libby Averill.  Welcome to the team Libby!

“I grew up in Hawkes Bay, did my nursing training in Palmerston North. I have worked in the operating theatre in Christchurch as a Registered Nurse for the past 6 years. I then completed a short term travel nurse contract in theatre in Queensland, Australia before starting my Practice Nursing career here at Eastfield Health. I love the outdoors, hiking, travelling and yoga”.
